Pregnancy and Childbirth Services
LVMWW provides all prenatal visits, starting at about 12 weeks of pregnancy. One of our midwives will be present at your active labor and birth out of the hospital (in our birth center or in your home). We can also continue care at our affiliated hospital in many cases.
We provide all childbirth and breastfeeding education classes.

State-Licensed and Nationally Accredited Birth Center
Our birth center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC).

Women’s Health Services
Our midwives provide complete well-women care, from special attention during a young woman’s first visit through the normal life event of menopause and beyond.
We can treat many gynecological problems, including some urologic problems and can refer for more complicated issues.
Newborn Care
Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) are licensed providers of care through four (4) weeks of age.
Preconception and Infertility Care
LVMWW provides counseling, screening and knowledge to women who are preparing for pregnancy.
We offer counseling and an initial investigation and work up for couples who are struggling to achieve a pregnancy.
Family Planning
We provide a range of family planning options, including natural family planning, oral contraceptives, and implantable uterine devices.
All your care, all in one place
We strive to make your pregnancy, newborn, and postpartum care as streamlined and simple as possible.
Labs on site
- We can do nearly all labs right here in our office.
Lactation Consults
- Our IBCLC* will meet you here! (*International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant)
- Lactation Consults can be done at any time, even long after your postpartum care with LVMWW has ended. (You do not need to have given birth here to use this service.)
