Good news on legislation to help midwives in Pennsylvania!
From our colleagues… Yesterday, the Midwifery Modernization Act (SB 507) passed through the House of Representative’s Professional Licensure Committee, as did House Bill 1251 which will allow us to prescribe physical therapy. The midwife is a mom (again)!
Jaime Lynn had a beautiful baby boy on November 17 in the birth center! Lorken was 8 pounds, 10.5 ounces, and both mom and baby are doing beautifully. Lorken’s four older siblings adore him. Jaime Lynn was kind enough to send these great photos to share!
